Division 51 Interest Groups

The Society For the Psychology of Men and Masculinities has a series of Task Forces (TFs) and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) comprised of members, student affiliates, and professional associates whose professional and personal interests coalesce around specific issues. Taking part in one of these groups is a great way to connect with others in the Division who share your own focus.

Task Forces (TF) and Special Interest Groups (SIG)

The Boys in School Task Force is a presidential appointed group of psychologists and teacher education specialists focused on helping boys and male-identified children thrive through grades K-12.

The Antiracist Task Force is an ongoing initiative drafted to better meet the needs of men, masc individuals, and male-identified folx and diverse communities through concerted efforts in Division 51.

Applied and Professional Practice Special Interest Group. This SIG is intended to create conversations, share knowledge and experiences among Division 51 members engaged in the psychological treatment and practice with men and boys.
